Camping along the NETT
Camping along the NETT is a convenient option for multi-day travelers. There are many excellent camping facilities along the trail. Please note that camping alongside the trail is prohibited, and of course you may not trespass onto adjacent private property to camp.
Many city parks also allow camping. Generally there will not be marked campsites, but you can set up your tent in any reasonable spot and you will have access to the public restroom facilities. Campfires are generally not allowed. Many towns ask that you check in with the
local police or city hall
to let them know you'll be camping in the park. The list below includes all towns that we know of which allow park camping; click through for details.
